The Indianola and Norwalk teams of summer will either attempt to sweep or avoid a sweep tonight, as the programs will meet in Norwalk.

The Indianola softball team nearly gained a split against #2 Norwalk after the Warriors earned an 11-0 win in game one, and had a lead late in game two before a massive Norwalk 7th inning earned them the season series. Norwalk has won eight games in a row and are locked into a tough conference championship battle with #6 Dallas Center-Grimes. The Indianola baseball team won a wild back and forth two games against the Warriors in the first go-around, winning 12-10 and 11-6. Norwalk had a lead in both contests by as much as seven runs in one instance, but Indianola outscored the Warriors in the fifth inning and beyond a combined 12-1 to earn both wins.
