The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad allowed six runs in the 2nd inning to Centerville and that was all the Redettes needed to defeat the Saints 6-2 on Wednesday night. Centerville also outhit Melcher-Dallas 7-6. Offensively for the Saints Kesley Reed was 1/3 with two runs batted in while Paetyn Anderson was 2/4 and Hayden Branson stole two bases. Lotty Notle took the loss going six innings, allowing seven hits and striking out two. The baseball game between Melcher-Dallas and Central Decatur was rained out. Softball will come back home to host Lamoni tonight.
