The Pleasantville softball team fell on the road to Southeast Warren Wednesday night.
The Trojans fell to the #7 ranked Warhawks 10-5 in a non-conference matchup. Pleasantville jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and held the Warhawks to one run heading into the fifth inning, but Southeast Warren put up four runs in the fifth and five runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach. Ella Clark had a triple and single in the game for the Trojans while Danika Park and Taylor Perkins both had two singles. Pleasantville coach Alee Phillips says the Warhawks were a great hitting team and she felt like her girls did a great job defensively holding them off.
After the loss, Pleasantville falls to 12-9 on the season and will be back in action tonight against Madrid.
