Warren County residents who have a septic tank or will be installing one will soon have their fees increase. Beginning July 1st, the fee for a new/replacement permit will be $300 and the fee for a repair will be $150.
Warren County Health Services is reminding residents who have a septic tank connected to their home or property that a properly maintained septic tank needs to be pumped every 3-5 years. Those needing to make a repair or alter an existing septic system, Warren County Environmental Health requires permits for replacing the distribution box, replacing the primary or secondary forms of treatment, hooking an existing septic system to a new building, or replacing a significant amount of piping.
