No. 14 in 4A Pella found a strong finish to the week with a pair of wins at the Bobcat Softball Invitational in Marshalltown Saturday. The Dutch defeated the hosts 4-1 and BCLUW 14-4 in their two games.

Saige DeJong combined to pitch during the entirety of both victories, giving up three earned runs in 12 innings with 10 strikeouts. Elah Hiemstra combined for four hits over the two contests and Ava Curry and Riley Parks had three total.

Pella moves to 16-10 and hosts Pella Christian on Monday for a single varsity game. Coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. on KRLS3 and Pella Dutch Live.
