The Pleasantville baseball and softball teams will travel to Des Moines Christian Monday for a West Central Conference matchup.

The 14-9 Trojan softball team is coming off two wins over Madrid Thursday night and will square off against the 8-12 Lions who are coming off a 13-5 win over West Central Valley on Thursday. Pleasantville beat the Lions 15-4 earlier in the season and will continue to lean heavily on freshman starting pitcher Lainey Kennedy. Monday’s softball game starts at 7:00 pm.

The 15-8 Trojan baseball team is coming off a split with Madrid Thursday in a varsity doubleheader and will take on the #5 ranked Lions who are 21-2 on the season coming off a win over Fort Dodge on Saturday. The Trojans were defeated by the Lions 18-5 earlier in the season. Monday’s baseball contest starts at 7:00 pm.
