Norwalk’s baseball and softball games were both rained out on Tuesday night. The baseball game vs. Des Moines Roosevelt and softball game against Winterset were initially delayed by lightning, then called off just before a heavy deluge of rain descended on the area. No make-up dates have been announced.

The Warrior squads will try again tonight, hosting Pella Christian in Little Hawkeye Conference play. The Warriors and Eagles will play a varsity baseball doubleheader at 5:30. Game two can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS. Norwalk won the first meeting between the teams 3-0 on June 10.

The softball teams were originally slated to play a varsity doubleheader as well, but will now play a JV game at 5:30, followed by the varsity game at approximately 7:15. Pella Christian will forfeit the first varsity game due to a shortage of players. The varsity game will be streamed live on kniakrls.com (KNIA3). The two teams also met on June 10, with Norwalk winning 13-3. Six Warrior seniors will be recognized on Senior Night prior to the game.
