The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved two courthouse closures at their meeting Tuesday morning. 

The first closure will be for the full day on July 24th for RABRAI’s overnight stop in Knoxville. The other closure will be August 14-16 for a power distribution upgrade and the installation of a back-up generator. 

Marion County Facilities and Maintenance Director Chris Nesteby spoke at the meeting and said the approval for the closure was needed for the dates to be secured with the contractors. 

The county encourages anyone that has business to take care of at the courthouse to be aware of the closures.
