After finding out their postseason destinations on Wednesday, the Dutch baseball and softball teams will finish Little Hawkeye Conference competition tonight in Norwalk.

For the #14 in 3A Pella baseball team, it marks a chance to fully clinch 2nd place in the league standings and to find a 20th win overall in the season. The Dutch were able to salvage a split with a walk-off, extra innings win on June 12th, after falling 3-0 in the first matchup. The game tonight will be for the season series between Pella and the Warriors. Pregame coverage will start at 7 p.m. on KNIA3 at KNIAKRLS.com and the free KNIA/KRLS mobile app.

Pella’s softball team will have a potential postseason preview with Norwalk, who is the No. 1 seed in the same Class 4A region, where the Dutch are the No. 3 seed. Pella dropped out of the 4A rankings this week after spending seven days at No. 14. No conference standings are on the line for the Dutch, who have finished in 3rd in the Little Hawkeye Conference, the team’s best finish in the league since they won the 2011 conference title. Pella will try to find a better ending tonight against No. 3 in 4A Norwalk, who crushed the Dutch 14-0 and 11-1 on June 12th. Live coverage from Norwalk begins at 6:45 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
