The Pleasantville baseball team fell to Chariton 6-5 Wednesday night in a con-conference matchup.
Both teams started off the game hot offensively by scoring three runs a piece in the first inning, but the two other runs scored by the Trojans in the fourth and sixth inning weren’t quite enough to knock off the Chargers who scored one in the third and two in the fifth. Caleb Cook was the losing pitcher for Pleasantville in the contest. Offensively the Trojans had big nights from Braylon Bingham who went 3-4 at the plate with a home run and RBI and Logan Roff who had two doubles.
After the loss, the Pleasantville baseball team falls to 17-10 overall and will be back in action tonight against Interstate 35.
