PCM Eighth grader Camden Webb is leading the State of Iowa in saves on the softball diamond this season by a large margin.

Webb has ten saves in her first season of varsity competition which is five saves more than next closest on the list which is a three way tie with five. Webb has been lights out on the mound this season, especially in relief situations for sophomore Rylee Parsons who is a top 15 pitcher in the entire state. Webb currently carries a head turning 0.94 ERA and has appeared in 20 games this season for the Mustangs recording 68 strikeouts. If Webb’s numbers weren’t impressive enough, Parsons currently carries a 0.86 ERA and has 93 strikeouts in 73 innings of work. Parsons carries a 13-1 overall record while Webb is 5-1 this season.

The #8 ranked PCM softball team is 20-3 on the season and will next compete on Tuesday at Bondurant-Farrar.
