The Knoxville Casey’s General Store located at 203 S Lincoln St. will be closed until Monday after a car hit the building Saturday.

According to Knoxville Fire Chief Cal Wyman, the driver of the vehicle’s foot slipped while behind the wheel causing them to lose control and drive into the front brick of the building. Wyman says the vehicle pushed the front wall of the convenience store in four inches. This Casey’s will be closed until Monday when an inspector can come in and assess the damage.
