Former Knoxville Softball Standout Jadyn Streigle finished her sophomore season at Northwest Missouri State this past spring and helped the Bearcats to a 28-25 season and 15-11 in the MIAA. Streigle, a pitcher, led the Bearcats in wins this season with ten struck out 50 batters and had the low ERA on the staff at 2.20. Streigle tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she was concerned going into the season with how many innings she would get, and found out the coaching staff had faith in her to make the most of it.
Streigle: “At the beginning of the season I was stressed out but by the end of the season my coach had faith in me and my coach knew I could pitch the way I can, and I got the innings I wanted.”
In her two year career in Maryville, Missouri Streigle has struck out 128 batters. Hear a full interview with Streigle on Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page this Monday on KNIA/KRLS.
