The Pleasantville softball team will take on Des Moines East in Carlisle today for their regular season finale.

The 17-12 Trojan softball team is coming off a 13-11 loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Wednesday night, and they will now take on the 16-19 Scarlets who are coming off a two wins over Waterloo East on Monday night. This will be Pleasantville’s last regular season game before they face Nodaway Valley on Wednesday night in the first round of postseason play. The Trojan softball team has only played Des Moines East once in the Bound era and it was an 11-1 Scarlets win in 2007. Today’s softball contest in Carlisle starts at 2:00 pm.
