The next quarterly Marion County CONNECT Economic Development Meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday. The meeting for this quarter will focus on local workforce and housing. During the event, there will be discussion on efforts to upskill, train, and recruit workforce, while also sharing challenges and needs with local partners. There will also be a brief overview of the Marion County Housing Study that was released in May. Elected officials, local government managers, businesses, utilities, education and local community organizations are encouraged to attend, and the meeting is also open to the public.  The quarterly Marion County CONNECT Economic Development Meeting will begin at 9am Friday at 3014 East Main Street in Knoxville.
