twin-cedars-vs-north-mahaska

The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad scored two runs in the 1st inning, but could not make it stand up and fell to North Mahaska 3-2 in the semifinal round of the class 1A District on Tuesday. The Sabers’ bats were alive in the 1st inning as Kaden Kloster doubled and scored Dallas Smith, then Holden Roberts scored Kloster on a double with the next at bat. That was all Twin Cedars would get as the Warhawks scored three runs in the 3rd and controlled the game from there. Kloster was the only Saber with multiple hits as he went 2/3 with an RBI. Blake Micetich took the loss going four innings allowing five hits and striking out two. Twin Cedars finishes 15-13 on the season. The summer is not over for Twin Cedars, however, as the softball squad will host Danville in the 2nd round of the class 1A regional tonight.
