The Knoxville RAGBRAI Executive Committee held their second town hall meeting Wednesday night ahead of RAGBRAI’s overnight stop in Knoxville on July 24th.

The meeting consisted of a presentation given by Mayor Brian Hatch regarding all the final preparations ahead of the event that is now less than two weeks away. Hatch spoke about various topics including the downtown concert area, camping arrangements, housing options, shuttle services, current volunteer needs, road closures, parking areas, full route details, and vendors. The committee stated that they are still about 200 volunteers short and are looking for any help they can get. The town hall also had an opportunity for attendees to ask questions regarding the large event.
