The Twin Cedars Softball Squad looks to keep advancing through the class 1A regional with a semi-final game tonight against Holy Trinity Catholic. The Sabers rolled over Danville on Wednesday 10-0 while Holy Trinity got by Winfield-Mount Union 10-9. Twin Cedars Coach Zack Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his seniors, who were a part of the 2022 State title team, have been excellent this season and with the regionals now happening, they are showing the younger players what it is all about.

Dunkin: “We have some other girls that were on that team that didn’t play as much. Ami Mockenhaupt was a part of that team, but didn’t play as much. Crissi started, so did Kenzyn and Jillian, so they want to experience that again and know now is time to go.”

Twin Cedars will host and depending on the winner in the other semi-final in the regional, the Sabers with a win will qualify for their 3rd straight regional final.
