The City of Indianola Planning and Zoning Commission approved a recommendation earlier this week regarding a proposed ordinance regarding ownership of chickens inside the city limits.
The motion was approved in a 4-3 vote, and will now move to the Indianola City Council for consideration. City of Indianola Communications Director Aaron Young tells KNIA News a public hearing will be held on the ordinance at the Indianola City Council meeting on July 29th, and a survey is still open if residents want their voice to be heard before any decision is made
