The Knoxville Community is still in need of volunteers for RAGBRAI’s overnight stop in Knoxville on July 24th.

The Knoxville RAGBRAI executive committee stated at a town hall meeting on Wednesday night that they are about 200 volunteers short ahead of the large event. Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nathan Sage says that there are still a couple areas where they need the most help.

“The biggest need in that situation is the beverage garden. We’re going to need a lot. There is going to be a lot of people there serving, and there is just going to be a lot of attention in that area. We need a lot toward the beverage garden as well as a lot toward the campground area when it comes to parking vehicles and getting people and vehicles in the right position, so those are our two biggest needs.”
