Emily Roe also had two important sliding catches in the contest while Kally Wysong recorded a few significant outs in left field. Pleasantville Coach Alee Phillips said the infield let nothing by them and her team backed up the freshman pitcher all game. Phillips said this is the best she’s seen her team play all year.
The Trojan softball team will look to stay hot as they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Monday night for a regional finals game with a trip to the state tournament on the line.
