The 2024 Marion County Fair continued over the weekend, and today marks the halfway point of the annual event.

Saturday’s festivities included the meat goat, pet, and cat shows and also featured culinary judging, horse trail classes, the Kiwanis kiddie tractor pull, the skill-a-thon, and more. Sunday’s activities included the horse and bucket calf shows and the clover kids pet, bottle lamb, and bottle calf shows. Other festivities on Sunday included the Marion County Cattlemen Lunch, the Farm Bureau Skid Steer Rodeo Operated by Bandstra Farms, and the baby contest. Evening entertainment this weekend was the sprint car races at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday and the Duckworth Rodeo on Sunday.
