The forecast for severe weather in the Corydon area pushed the Twin Cedars and Wayne Class 1A regional final game back to today. The Sabers will play for a trip to the state tournament for the third straight season. Top seed Wayne, a team that the Sabers know all too well, is the opponent. The Falcons have mostly dominated the series during the Bound Era, winning 14 of the 17 games played. The last Sabers win was during the 2022 State Championship season when Twin Cedars won 3-2. The two played in each other’s season openers and Wayne won two/nothing. First pitch from Wayne is at 7:00, the winner gets a trip to the class one-A State Tournament in Fort Dodge.
