The Indianola softball season came to a close Saturday night on the road against ADM in the regional semifinal round, but the young team will have more opportunities to advance further in postseason play in the future. The Indians lose starters Kyra Robins and Katie Fosenburg to graduation, but will bring back an infield that featured three freshman, leading hitter Tessa Gripp and Dana Blake in the outfield, as well as the pitching battery of Ava Tichy and Makenzie Sloan for next season. The Indians ended the season with a 20-18 record.
