The Marion County Community Foundation has distributed their 2024 grants.
The Marion County Community Foundation is an organization that looks to be a resource for building bridges from today to an enhanced quality of life for tomorrow for current and future residents of Marion County. The Marion County Community Foundation’s mission is to foster private giving, strengthen service providers, and improve the conditions of the community. Different community organizations may submit grant proposals to the foundation every year and the recipients are announced in July. This year, the foundation gave out a total of $157,987. The recipients who received the highest grants were Lions Club Charity of Melcher-Dallas, Habitat for Humanity, and Bussey Little League.
