Pella Regional Health Center and the Marion County GOAL Consortium are partnering to host a Behavioral Health Wellness Fair on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 pm at Central College’s Graham Center.

The Behavioral Health Wellness Fair will offer information and resources for those interested in mental health and substance misuse issues. The public is invited to attend the event and enjoy food from 5:30-6:00 and 7-7:30. Keynote Speaker Angela Kennecke, who is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer for Emily’s Hope, will speak at the event from 6-7 pm. Emily’s Hope is a charity that offers hope and treatment scholarships to families struggling with addiction. Kennecke is also an investigative journalist working to stop the stigma surrounding addiction and find solutions to the overdose epidemic.
