The Friends of Webb Shadle Public Library are offering tethered hot-air balloon rides as part of their Summer Reading Program fundraiser today, weather permitting. Tickets will be available at the event for $40 per person, and will be first-come, first-serve. Pre-sale tickets can be picked up at will-call today at the event. All participants must sign a waiver before riding, and riders must be at least three feet tall. The tethered hot-air balloon rides fundraiser will be held at the Pleasantville Sports Complex tonight from 7-9 pm.
