The Bluegrass Conference released the all-conference selections for the softball season. For Twin Cedars on the 1st team was Jillian French, Allie Reed and Cristen Durian. French was the pitcher for the Sabers going 15-11 with 240 strikeouts to just 59 walks. She was also a force at the plate batting .474 with nine home-runs, which tied a school record and a team leading 32 RBI. Reed batted .391 with 27 hits to just seven strikeouts. Durian batted 387 and 29 hits. On the 2nd team was Kenzyn Roberts, who led the Sabers with 11 stolen bases. Ami Mockenhaupt was also selected to the 2nd team as she batted .412 with 28 hits and 23 RBIs. On honorable mention was Khloe French. Melcher-Dallas earned two spots on the 1st team with Jenna Mickey and Paetyn Anderson. Mickey batted 391 with 36 hits, which led the team in both departments, and 16 RBI. Mickey was also a threat on the bases as she led the team with 12 steals. Anderson batted .337 with 30 hits and a team leading eight home runs. On honorable mention was Gabby Overgaard. She batted .312 with five home runs on the season. The Sabers finished 15-12 on the season and got to the regional final for the third straight season and won the Bluegrass Conference for the sixth straight season. Melcher-Dallas went 8-23 with mostly a young team in 2024.
