The Knoxville Softball Squad had three seniors that were vital to the team’s success this summer. Charlye Willis, Ciara Heffron and Anna Anderson had a big role for the Panthers. Willis was mainly centerfield and was the pitcher in most non-conference games, Anderson was the catcher, and Heffron was the pitcher for most of the conference games. All three, says Coach Chris Peden were huge for him as a first year coach.
Peden: “The consistency of those was big. I knew what I was going to get out of them leading the team and they came and stepped up in the biggest games of the year.”
Peden adds they will be missed next summer. All three are planning to play sports at the next level.
