A new feature at the National Balloon Classic this year will be the Sky is Alive Drone Show. National Balloon Classic Executive Director Staci Scheurenbrand tells KNIA News this is Iowa’s first drone show of it’s kind, as hundreds of synchronized drones will flash colors to create images in real time, sponsored by the Indianola HyVee. The Sky is Alive Drone Show is each night next Wednesday-Saturday, July 31-August 3rd after dark.

Each night of the National Balloon Classic will also feature live music on the TruBank Live Stage, with multiple other nights including Nite Glo and Fantastic Fireworks displays. Hear the full interview below.
