The Marion County Road Department announced Tuesday night that 169th Street at County Highway T15 near Flagler will be closed for bridge approach work beginning on Monday, July 29th. The work is associated with the Flagler bridge project and the road is expected to be closed for 2 months. The Flagler bridge project is behind schedule due to railroad delays, however, work is progressing according to the road department. The bridge deck has been poured and the forms are being removed with approach earthwork commencing soon. Following the earthwork completion, work will begin on approach paving, the bridge rail, final grading and final asphalt work.
