The Pella School Board held the second of two summer meetings Tuesday. The agenda included a construction update with ongoing projects. The board approved contract completion for Cunningham Mechanical and Eagle Electric in relation to the Early Childhood Center, as well as the 2024-25 transportation handbook, the upcoming academic year board meeting schedule, an agreement with the City of Pella for the EPCON Development, and policy changes related to Title IX updates — which included lengthy discussion. An adjustment to insurance rates was tabled until August. A work session followed to discuss legislative priorities for the coming year.
