The Knoxville Rotary Club is sponsoring a film raising awareness for human trafficking in Iowa at the Grand Theater on Saturday.
The film “Gridshock” is a documentary with an aim to raise awareness of how Iowans can impact this growing crime. This film will help identify human trafficking, learn warning signs, become educated, and learn how residents can stand against it in their communities. Gridshock will be showing from 9:30 am – 11:00 am and is considered appropriate for those 16 years and older. There will be a Q&A session after the movie with Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt and the Knoxville Police Department will be in attendance.
