During the Knoxville Baseball Season, fans may have seen Assistant Coach Cam Liston coaching in the 3rd base box rather than Head Coach Turner Devore. That was planned, as Devore wanted to give Liston a chance to expand his coaching duties while still overseeing the entire program. Devore tells KNIA/KRLS Sports giving Liston that chance is a way to prepare him for the future.

Devore: “Those are some of the things I preach. Cam is a good coach and it’;s a good way to keep him around and super important to make those guys better.”
