Thousands of RAGBRAI riders from all over the world left Knoxville on Thursday morning after their overnight stay.

RAGBRAI’s stop in Knoxville was a success according to city employees, and showcased the town to a massive crowd. The event was made possible by hundreds of volunteers, who stepped up to work in several different areas during Wednesday’s festivities. RAGBRAI last came to Knoxville a decade ago and the Knoxville RAGBRAI Executive Committee spent months preparing to make the 2024 stop successful. Riders made their way to Ottumwa on Thursday and will now head to Mount Pleasant today.

The Knoxville community will see large crowds of people coming to the city again next week, with the Knoxville Nationals beginning on Thursday, August 1st.
