The Grand Theater in Knoxville has suffered extensive water damage, and is looking for community support.
A social media post by former Grand Theater Board Member Dylan Morse has revealed that while the theater was in the process of installing their new roof Tuesday, storms came in and ripped apart the temporary tarps that construction crews had in place, and it was raining all throughout the inside of the building for several hours. Morse also states that the roofing contractor is doing all they can to make this right, but the theater is looking for financial help to put pieces back together so the community can enjoy it for years to come. Details can’t currently be confirmed regarding the extent of the damage.
