The Greater Des Moines Partnership estimated that 14,000 people were in downtown Knoxville for RAGBRAI’s overnight stop last Wednesday.

The Placer Report that was released uses cell phone data to track movement during events such as RAGBRAI. The report stated that about 1,000 patrons for the event downtown last Wednesday were local, and most people who attended the festivities  were there for over an hour. Places that saw the most amount of foot traffic during the day were Casey’s, Peace Tree Brewing Company, Atlantic and Pacific Pub, and Lucky Buffett. The complete report can be found below.
