Claiming the number seven spot for PCM top sports stories of the 2023-2024 school year is the PCM Boys Golf Team finishing second at their sectional meet.

The Mustangs scored 314 as a team in the 18-hole event at River Bend Golf Course in Story City competing alongside several talented teams. Nick Farver had the low score for PCM shooting a 76 as Pete Kiernan shot a 78, and Easton VanVeen shot a 79. On April 30th the Mustangs took first in their conference meet at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center to be crowned Heart of Iowa Conference Champions. Unfortunately the Mustangs fell just short of a trip to the state tournament as they placed tied for third at their district meet held at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City. 

PCM will return five of the six golfers in their lineup next season.
