The #6 spot on the countdown of the top 10 moments at Pella Christian high school this past school year sends us to the Greene County Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 30th, where junior Chloe Huisman etched her name into the record books.

En route to a 3-2 day at the tournament, the junior eclipsed the 2,000 career assists mark, becoming the all-time leader in Eagles program history. In addition to setting the program’s new career high assist standard, Huisman became the only girl in Pella Christian history to surpass the 2,000 career assist milestone. At Greene County, Huisman posted 93 assists throughout the five matches, reaching 2,018 assists entering October. Come season’s end, Chloe recorded 691 assists to push her career mark up to 2,196 in just her third season with the program.

Huisman and Pella Christian ended the 2023-2024 season with a 17-21 record.
