The 2024-25 school year is about to begin, and with that comes the annual Indianola Community Youth Foundation Back to School Bash and Meet in the Indians Night. ICYF Executive Director Taylor Litchkey tells KNIA News the Meet the Indians portion is always a fun part of the event, as each of the fall sports and activities will be introduced, in addition to the Eat Well, Play Well Ambassadors. Litchkey also said the Back to School Bash will include games, activities for kids and families, giveaways and more. Hyvee will have food available for purchase and The Farm Creamery will be selling ice cream. The event is at the Indianola Stadium on August 17th from 6-8:30pm, with the Meet the Indians Night beginning at 7pm.
