An end-of-summer celebration returned to the Pella Historical Village on Saturday. Pella Historical Museums Executive Director Jessi Galligan says Kermis featured several games and other festivities for all ages.

“It’s been a wonderful day between our new inflatables here, our new De kinderhoek exhibit is looking wonderful and people were really excited about that,” she says.

Andrea Van Wyk won the new Tulip Time art contest as well, with her painting “Celebrating Heritage.” Galligan says all 36 submissions will be part of a display next April ahead of Tulip Time.
