Former Pleasantville pitcher Kyle Amendt has been promoted to AAA Reno in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Amendt, the 2018 Pleasantville graduate, was promoted to AA Amarillo on June 1st of this year. In his time in AA this season, Amendt went 1-1 with a 2.89 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 18.2 innings of work. Amendt is now just one step away from playing in the big leagues.
