Claiming the number four spot for PCM top sports stories of the 2023-2024 school year is running back Adrien Robbins rushing for 409 yards against West Marshall.

In a game against the Trojans on October 6th at home, the junior running back made history for PCM. On top of a 409 rushing yard rushing performance, Robbins also scored three touchdowns on the night to help his team lock up the number one seed in 2A district six. Robbins 409 yard night is a PCM single game rushing school record and the 25th most rushing yards by any player for 11 man football in state of Iowa history. PCM Head Football Coach Greg Bonnett is thrilled with how well his star running back compliments a strong offensive line

“He practices hard but when he runs the ball in practice he’s doing everything you see out there too. He does have a pretty dang good offensive line and he will tell you that too. Those guys are just mauling people up there and blocking people on the edge and just playing really physical offensive football right now, so when you combine that with the talent and how electric he is, good things are going to happen and that’s what we have going on right now.”

Robbins finished the season with a staggering 2,182 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns. Robbins will return this season as the top returning running back in terms of rushing yards in the State of Iowa.
