The Pella City Council will discuss a series of potential rate increases at their meeting this week. While no formal action is scheduled, policy and planning sessions are on the agenda as it relates to parking in the Molengracht and for solid waste bills, relating to several different aspects. During regular business, the council will consider a contract on the tabled resolution to West 9th Street Improvements, engineering services contracts with Garden and Associates for Lincoln Street Improvements and Snyder and Associates for upgrades to the Exit 40 Interchange along Highway 163, as well as a contract to renovate the Tulip Toren this fall. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 6:00 this evening in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
