Indianola Parks and Rec is hosting a journey through Suffrage and World War I in Iowa as part of their Afternoon Adventures Speaker Series later this month. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News Iowa author Ann Hanigan Kotz will share a powerpoint with historical pictures and will highlight Iowans’ experiences with the two Iowa events in American history. The event is August 27th at 1pm at the Indianola Activity Center.
