Claiming the number one spot for PCM top sports stories of the 2023-2024 school year is Morgan Karr winning a state championship in the 100 hurdles.

All season long Karr continued to be one of the best in the hurdles in all of class 2A and she capped off the impressive season at the blue oval on May 18th. Karr took first place to bring home the state championship with a time of 15.01 in the finals. This was one of many events where Karr took first place during the 2024 season, but none was sweeter than a state title. Karr was just a sophomore and will look to repeat her state title this upcoming season.
