While their locations remain open for guests as the seasons begin to change from summer to fall, August marks a time of transition for Pella Historical Museums as it relates to their yearly business.

Executive Director Jessi Galligan says the organization responsible for Tulip Time is gearing up for the annual member’s meeting, which kicks off the next year as it relates to the celebration and other museum functions.

“Tulip Time will start ramping up here in terms of planning; the Steering Committee will begin meeting again probably within the next month,” she says. “Our annual meeting is coming in August as well, so it’s a time to reflect back on the past year: everything we’ve done and everything we’ve accomplished, and celebrate that together.”
