Marion County Fair Queen Marley Larson is competing at the State Fair Queen Competition this week in Des Moines. 

On Thursday afternoon, all county fair queens in the state were introduced on stage during a ceremony, and tonight, there will be the coronation ceremony. Larson said after she was crowned Marion County Fair Queen in June that she wants to be a positive role model in the community. Tonight’s queen coronation at the Iowa State Fair will be held at 7:00 pm at the Anne and Bill Riley Stage.
