A new athletic complex will make its debut in Knoxville this fall. Randy Wilson Track will be the new home for Knoxville Football games this season as the new stadium was completed this summer. This along with the new bleachers and press box at the baseball field and the recent improvement to the softball field on Panther Drive has Knoxville Activities Director Ryan Paulsen excited to start this fall sports season.

Paulsen: “It really gives that area a big time feel and especially when you add in the work done on the baseball press box and awesome local businesses and the great softball complex. It gives that whole area a big time 3A/4A feel and that’s an awesome thing.”

Paulsen added parking will be in the gravel lot behind the softball field, also in the gravel lot at the baseball field, and in the student parking area near the high school. Knoxville Football will play its first game in the new stadium in its week one opener on August 30th against Boone. Listen all season for Panther sports on the radio home of Knoxville High School Sports 95.3 KNIA.
