Students at Central College are set to return to campus this week for the 2024-2025 school year. With heavy traffic expected for students moving in and out of their dorms, a special event permit was granted to Central by the Pella City Council to close Peace St. from Main St. to Broadway for certain days and times. Peace St. will be closed to public traffic on August 13th from 1-7:30 pm, August 14th from noon to 5 pm, August 16th from 8 am-2 pm, August 17th from 10 am-4 pm, and August 18th from 8 am to 4 pm.
